We are really looking forward to the Service of Dedication for the Stations of the Resurrection which we created for St James’ in collaboration with the artist Ian Mood and friends and partners from the community. The details of the service are on the invitation which is part of this post. Please do come along to the service if you are able to and celebrate the project, and also the life of Clayton and St James’ which has created the unique set of Stations with Ian Mood’s fantastic artistic facilitation. We are excited to see the final set of Stations which Ian has painted oil on board and which will be on permanent display at St James’.

A massive thank you to the wonderful Keele Bach Choir for a brilliant Christmas Carol Concert this afternoon. And thank you to everyone who supported the concert. It was very well attended and we raised a very generous amount for Newcastle Staffs Foodbank - and there are still some final donations coming in! Thank you to everyone. And all good wishes for a joyful Christmas and a peaceful new year.

We will be marking Remembrance Sunday at St James’ with an Act of Remembrance followed by a Eucharist at 10am tomorrow morning (Sunday 10 November). Please do come along, and invite others too, as we remember those who lost their lives in wars past, those who are losing their lives in wars present, and commit ourselves to work for justice and peace for current and future generations and for the planet. 🙏
