🕊️ ⛪️ Meet our new minister ⛪️ 🕊️

The Revd Teddy Siwila is delighted to be the new Minister for Wolstanton Methodist Church, joining the village after nine happy years of ministry in Wolverhampton.
Originally from Zambia, Teddy comes with a heart for people, a love for Jesus, and a desire to journey alongside churches and communities as together they discover what God is doing in right here in Wolstanton.
Teddy believes ministry is best done together. He enjoys getting to know people, listening to their stories, sharing faith in everyday life, and encouraging churches to grow in hope, love, and service. He’s looking forward to becoming part of the rich life of not just the church but the Wolstanton community - as well learning the local ways, which includes enjoying a good oatcake!
Away from church life, Teddy is a devoted sports fan. Football, cricket, and rugby will always catch his attention, so if there’s a match on, there’s a good chance he’ll know the score.
Teddy is married to Muulo, and together they have three wonderful sons: Lukundo, Wila, and Salifyanji.
As a family, they are excited to put down roots in Newcastle and look forward to sharing life, laughter, faith, and plenty of cups of tea!

September is here but what do we have going on at Wolstanton Methodist church? SO MUCH!

We have so many fabulous groups and classes here and a packed calendar of events so if you’re looking for a new hobby or something to do now the kids are back at school we’ve got you!

Every other Monday 2.30-4pm: Elderberries a church social group for older people normally with a speaker always with refreshments

First Monday of the month 2-4pm: Trefoil Guild a social meeting for people connected with Girl Guiding

Monday 5.30pm- 8.30pm: Workout with Mika three different exercise classes from hula hoop fitness to boxing classes [email protected]

Monday 6.30-7.30pm Pilates with Nicola [email protected]

Tuesday 10-11am TinyTalk Newcastle under Lyme & Stoke on Trent for young babies up to two years [email protected]

Tuesday 7.30-9.30pm: Am dram group with NOS - Newcastle Operatic Society

Tuesday 7.30-9pm: Church music group

Wednesday 10.30-12.30: community coffee morning open to all

Wednesday 7.30pm-9.30pm:NULCO Newcastle under Lyme Community Orchestra

First Wednesday of the month 7.30-9pm: The British Sugarcraft Guild fondant decorations for cake.

Thursday 6pm 7 6.45pm: Dog obedience classes run by Darwin's Grooming & Training

One Thursday a month sound 10am-12pm sound bathing with Into the Earth and Sky

Thursdays 7.30-9.30: Jazz and also flute music groups

Friday 10-11am The Little Village Family Club baby sensory followed by messy play 11.15am-12pm

Saturday 9am-10.15am: Spanish lessons for children Kidslingo Delia

Our fabulous friends at NULCO Newcastle under Lyme Community Orchestra are having a community coffee morning and all are welcome so pop along for an oatcake and a brew on Saturday 8th August ☕️ 🍰
