A letter of invitation from the Stake Presidency:

Dear Sisters and Brothers

We invite you to join us for our upcoming Stake Conference on 6 & 7 December 2025.

The general sessions of conference will be held on Saturday 6 December 18:00-20:00 at Wrekin Chapel (Adult Session) and Sunday 7 December 10:00-12:00 at Newcastle-under-lyme Stake Centre (a broadcast to Wrekin Chapel will be available).

We invite each of you to prayerfully prepare for, and attend this conference, seeking for the windows of heaven to be opened and to receive personal revelation from the Lord. In particular, we invite you to prepare for this conference by studying the words of our recently called First Presidency during the last General Conference (links below).

We look forward to being with you as many of you as are able to come, to feeling of your spirit, and to being edified together by the Holy Ghost during this weekend. If you are unable to attend in person, please join us remotely using the links below.

The N-u-L Stake has limited free tickets for adults to see the Lamb of God production (using Stake budget) on 14-15th March at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. Those wanting a ticket need to fill in this form: https://forms.gle/RvDFo7fn1V15UBxP8

One form per person (e.g. 2x adults requires 2x forms). Tickets will be sent to you the week before the even by Brother Beard.

Please note: You will need to provide your own transport. If you cannot attend after getting a ticket the Stake will not be able to recoup this money.

If you know of anyone who hasn’t started on their family tree yet (may be recent converts or less active members or anyone scared of technology) please let them know about this initiative from the family history department.

They will have someone complete the ‘trunk’ of their family tree for them and will even purchase any certificates needed. The person doesn’t need to do anything, only sign up for a FamilySearch account and let their researcher know what information they already have about parents and grandparents.
It’s a great opportunity for anyone who hasn’t gotten started with it. 🌳
