Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH Announcement

As the crescent moon has not been sighted, and following the guidance of the European Council for Fatwa and Research, Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday, 20th March 2026, Insha’Allah.

Eid Prayer Details:

Complimentary snacks and drinks, fun kids' activities, treat bags, and on-site parking will be free! Cool off with an ice cream van (small charges apply).

In case of rain, the prayer will be held at WBMC. A final update will be shared on Wednesday 18/3 evening, Insha'Allah.

We were honoured to host guest Imam "Shaykh Mohammad Salem Amer", Lead Imam of Al-Azhar Grand Mosque (Egypt), at the West Berkshire Muslim Centre for Tarawih yesterday.

Dear brothers and sisters, Alhamdulillah! Based on the announcements from other Muslim counties and various UK mosques, the blessed month of Ramadan will begin tomorrow, Wednesday 18/2/2026, Insha’Allah! 🌙✨

This is a time of reflection, prayer, and increased devotion. Let us welcome this sacred month with open hearts, seeking Allah’s mercy and blessings.

Join us for Isha & Tarawih prayers tonight at 7:15pm at the WBMC Insha'Allah. May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds.

Please remember to;
- Perform Wudu at home.
- Bring your water bottle - let's save the environment.
- Keep an eye on your children – they don't get hurt or leave the centre. Parents and guardians remain responsible at all times.
- Please be mindful of our neighbours and others when parking.
- Please enter and leave the centre quietly, out of consideration for our neighbours.

The Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

The Day of Arafah is tomorrow, insha’Allah. It is a wonderful opportunity to earn the pleasure of Allah and seek forgiveness for our sins. On this blessed and noble day, fast sincerely for the sake of Allah. Do not allow laziness to deprive you of your share of His mercy.

Insha'Allah, we’ll celebrate at 'Henwick Worthy Sports Ground'! Enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks, fun activities for kids, treat bags, and free on-site parking. Cool off with treats from the ice cream van or indulge in French waffles and crêpes—available for a small charge.

In case of rain, the prayer will take place at WBMC with one large and blessed congregation. We will confirm on Thursday evening, insha'Allah.
