Warm Welcome is back after the Summer but we have had to move venue for a few weeks (probably 3 but keep checking here!) because of work being done at the Services Club. You can find us at Knights Court Community Lounge. Everyone is welcome - no need to book, just come along.

This morning we joined our friends at St Mary Magdalene for their 11am Contemporary Service - a lovely chance to worship alongside another part of our wider church family while we're on the move. We enjoyed the music led by the two musicians and were blessed by Jasmine’s prayers and preaching. The children enjoyed joining in their own group for much of the time. We pray for the service at St Mary’s this afternoon and for Danny as he is licensed as the new Rector.

It’s an ecumenical day for us on Sunday. We will be joining St Mary’s (Newark Parish Church, St Mary Magdalene and St Leonard’s) at 11am for their contemporary worship. There will be a service at 4pm too for the licensing of Revd Danny Marshall as Rector. All are welcome. We hold Danny and St Mary’s in our prayers.

Creator God,

Pour out your Spirit and continue your
creative work within and among us:
Weave your hope through our life together
that we may catch glimpses of your glory;
Weave your light through our life together
that in the darkness we might see your way;
Weave your peace through our life together
that all may dwell in safety;
Weave your grace through our life together
that in all things your joy may be our strength;
Weave your love through our life together
that we may grow more fully into the likeness of Christ. Amen.

On the first Sunday of each month, whilst we are on the move, we are joining with other Church congregations. This coming Sunday we are going to join with St Mary’s at their 11am contemporary service. It would be good to see you there.
