New Life Children's Centres

New Life Children's Centres NLCC helps provide education and a future for African children.

The work operates through our Sponsorship Programme where individuals and groups of people donate money on a monthly or yearly basis. Many of the children are receiving free education due to financial circumstances and we have a list of children waiting for sponsorship. To access sponsorship, the children have to regularly attend the activities put on in the various centres.

THE TRUE VALUE OF EDUCATION
Nelson Mandela once said’ Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.’
Through our sponsorship programme we have the wonderful opportunity to help change the world of a child. For more than 30 years NLCC has sought to do just that! Thousands of children have passed through our schools and become successful in a whole variety of fields and they are continuing to do so. NLCC has been a family to the children and has offered stability, structure and self esteem to many who live in the poorest of circumstances. The parents know that there will be better days ahead for their little ones and more opportunities than they ever had. Statistics tell us that education can cut poverty in half!

WE ARE SEEING THIS BECOME A REALITY - thanks to all you wonderful people who support us.

We are blessed with our two schools at Half Dye and Kanifing where over 1,750 children are receiving an excellent education . Looking forward to seeing another one soon at Faraba! Exciting times - God is good!
