𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟰𝘁𝗵 🎶

On Sunday morning the settings of the Sanctus and Agnus Dei are taken from the beautiful Missa Bervis by Palestrina.The communion motet is a setting of George Herbert's moving poetry, The Call, set to music by Gail Randall.

At Evensong we welcome Bingham and District Choral Society to join with our own choir. The introit is In Joyful Song, by Guy Turner, heard for the first time. The canticles are the quasi-symphonic setting in A major by Stanford, with Elgar's large-scale work, Give unto the Lord, as the anthem.
