A partial solar eclipse will be visible across the UK on 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁, with around 90–95% of the sun covered.

Offering two Rak‘āt during an eclipse is an emphasised Sunnah (Sunnah-e-Mu’akkadah), and it is Mustaḥabb to read this prayer in congregation at the mosque.

We will be holding the eclipse prayer in congregation:
𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁
𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 𝟲:𝟮𝟱 𝗣𝗠
𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗷𝗶𝗱 𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗺𝗿𝗮

Please arrive on time and join us in Ṣalāh, Du‘ā’, and Istighfār.
