بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 (صلاة الكسوف)

A partial solar eclipse will be visible across the UK on 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁, with around 90–95% of the sun covered.

Offering two Rak‘āt during an eclipse is an emphasised Sunnah (Sunnah-e-Mu’akkadah), and it is Mustaḥabb to read this prayer in congregation at the mosque.

We will be holding the eclipse prayer in congregation:
