🚨*A STERN REMINDER ABOUT THE RIGHTS OF OUR NEIGHBOURS*🚨

On his first Jummah back following a short break, we were honoured to welcome our Imam, Allama Hafiz Mudassir Aziz Qadri, who delivered a powerful and uncompromising sermon on the rights and responsibilities of neighbours in Islam.

A particularly stern message was given regarding the irresponsible use of fireworks, especially late at night.

What may be a few moments of entertainment for some can cause genuine fear, distress and sleepless nights for the elderly, vulnerable adults, young children, babies and even pets.

Our entertainment is not more important than another person’s peace, wellbeing or right to feel safe in their own home.

Islam commands us to respect our neighbours. Deliberately disturbing them for the sake of our own amusement is not the character of a believer.

Let us take this reminder seriously. Think beyond ourselves. Fear Allah. Respect your neighbours.

Welcome back, Allama Hafiz Mudassir Aziz Qadri. May Almighty Allah reward you for delivering this important reminder.

*Mawlid with Minhaj | Day 12 | GRAND MAWLID*

On the 12th night of Mawlid, hundreds of brothers and sisters gathered at Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nelson for our *GRAND MAWLID*, bringing the 2026 series to a beautiful conclusion.

The programme commenced after Asr Salah with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Qur’an by *Qari Fayzaan Faisal Qadri*.

The evening was held under the guidance of *Allama Hafiz Shams-ur-Rahman Aasi*, who beautifully led the programme throughout the night.

Local Naat reciters *Raja Qamar Chishti* and *Haji M. Ilyas* filled the gathering with heartfelt Naats and Nasheeds. Our guest Naat Khawaans, *Syed Imran Afghan* and *Syed Faiz Rasool*, followed with powerful and spiritually uplifting performances of their popular Naats.

After Maghrib Salah, internationally renowned Nasheed artist *Milad Raza Qadri* continued the celebrations with a selection of classic Nasheeds, creating a vibrant atmosphere and particularly engaging the younger generation.

The occasion was also honoured by the presence of *Moazzam Raza* (General Secretary MQI UK), alongside *Allama Rukhsar Ahmed Qadri* and *Ismaeel Hanif*, whose presence added to the significance and spirit of the Grand Mawlid gathering.

The keynote lecture was delivered by *Allama Dr Syed Hamid Farooq Bukhari* (QTV, Pakistan), who reflected on the meaning of celebrating the blessed birth of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

He highlighted that when a child is born, glad tidings are naturally given to the parents and family who receive that blessing. Reflecting on the blessed birth of the Prophet ﷺ, he reminded us of the special place of those blessed souls who welcomed, cared for, protected and supported him ﷺ, particularly Sayyidatuna Aminah سلام الله عليها, Sayyiduna Abdul Muttalib عليه السلام and Sayyiduna Abu Talib عليه السلام.

The message was one of *love, gratitude and adab*. When remembering the greatest mercy sent to creation, we should also remember with love and reverence those blessed individuals connected to his noble arrival and early life.

The programme concluded with collective *Salawat*, heartfelt *Dua*, Isha Salah and dinner, where everyone came together and shared a meal.

Allama Hafiz Shams-ur-Rahman Aasi presented *The Manifest Qur’an, the contemporary translation by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri*, to Allama Dr Syed Hamid Farooq Bukhari. He warmly welcomed the gift and expressed his deep appreciation, speaking highly of the remarkable contribution and services of Shaykh-ul-Islam, and the work being carried out through Minhaj-ul-Quran International. He praised their efforts immensely and made heartfelt Dua for their continued success, service and blessings.

For *12 consecutive nights*, we gathered with love, passion and devotion to celebrate the blessed Mawlid of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. May Almighty Allah accept every Salawat, every Naat, every gathering and every sincere intention.

Mawlid with Minhaj | Day 11

On the 11th night of Mawlid, Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nelson held a spiritually uplifting gathering in celebration of the blessed Mawlid.

The programme commenced after Asr Salah with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Fayzaan Faisal Qadri.

The gathering was held under the guidance of Allama Hafiz Shams-ur-Rahman Aasi, who beautifully led and guided the evening’s programme.

Haji Mumtaz Ahmed blessed the gathering with beautiful renditions of Naat and Nasheeds.

The keynote lecture was delivered by a student of His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam, Allama Hafiz Abdul Saeed, who spoke eloquently on the prophetic character of the beloved Prophet ﷺ, with particular emphasis on Akhlaq-e-Hasana — the noble character, manners and conduct of the Prophet ﷺ. He highlighted how the Prophet’s ﷺ compassion, mercy, patience, humility and kindness provide us with the perfect example to follow in our daily lives.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt collective Dua, followed by dinner, where everyone gathered and ate together.

Tomorrow will be our final night of Mawlid with Minhaj. On this GRAND MAWLID, we welcome internationally renowned Nasheed Artist Milad Raza Qadri as well as Syed Imran Afghan (Pakistan) and Syed Faiz Rasool who will be reciting beautiful Naat’s and Nasheeds in honour of the blessed Mawlid. The keynote lecture will be delivered by Allama Dr Peer Syed Hamid Farooq Shah (QTV, Pakistan) who will address the congregation on this special occasion. Local naat reciters will also be uplifting the gathering with their beautiful renditions of Naat and Nasheeds.

On the 10th night of Mawlid with Minhaj, Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nelson hosted a beautiful and spiritually uplifting programme in celebration of the blessed birth of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The programme commenced after Asr Salah with a heartfelt recitation of the Holy Qur’an, beautifully presented by *Ajaz Ditta*.

The evening was held under the guidance of *Allama Hafiz Shams-ur-Rahman Aasi*, who led the gathering with warmth and spiritual wisdom throughout the programme.

*Kabir Hussain* (Burnley) graced the gathering with beautiful renditions of Naat and Nasheeds, while *Allama Rukhsar Ahmed Qadri* was also present on this blessed occasion.

The keynote lecture was delivered by *Allama Dr Sajid-ul-Qadri Hashemi*, who eloquently spoke on the blessed character of the Beloved Prophet ﷺ as a mercy for all of mankind. He highlighted how the life, teachings and compassion of the Prophet ﷺ are a source of guidance, mercy and hope for humanity. His message reminded us that the love of the Prophet ﷺ should be reflected not only in our words, but also in our character, kindness, compassion and service to others.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt *collective Dua*, followed by dinner, where everyone came together and shared a meal in the spirit of brotherhood and unity.

*Mawlid with Minhaj | Day 9*

On the 9th night of Mawlid, Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nelson held a deeply spiritual and uplifting programme in celebration of the blessed Mawlid of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The programme commenced after Asr Salah with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by *Qari Fayzaan Faisal Qadri*, whose melodious and heartfelt recitation set the tone for a truly blessed gathering.

The evening was held under the guidance of *Allama Hafiz Shams-ur-Rahman Aasi*, who beautifully led and guided the programme throughout the night.

*Syed Najam Gilaani* and *Touqir Ahmed Sheikh* further enriched the gathering with their beautiful renditions of Naat and Nasheeds, filling the atmosphere with love and remembrance of the Beloved Prophet ﷺ.

The keynote lecture was delivered by the student of His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam, *Allama Qari Tayyib Qadri* (MQI Manchester), who delivered an eloquent and profound lecture on *“The Love of the Messenger ﷺ: The Soul of Faith and the Essence of Life.”*

He began his lecture with a profound reflection on the unique status of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, explaining the distinction between the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and all other creation, including the noble Prophets عليهم السلام. He beautifully explained that the Beloved Prophet ﷺ was *“Mahbub” (the Beloved)* first and *“Makhlooq” (creation)* later, whereas all other creation was “Makhlooq” first and “Mahbub” later. From this powerful opening, he took the audience on a deeply insightful journey, exploring the reality and significance of Muhabbat-e-Rasool ﷺ through verses of the Holy Quran and narrations from the Ahadith. His lecture highlighted how love for the Messenger ﷺ is not merely an emotion, but lies at the very heart of Imaan, shaping the believer’s relationship with Allah, their character, their actions and their entire way of life.

The programme concluded with a collective and heartfelt Dua, after which dinner was served. The gathering ended with everyone sitting together, sharing a meal and the blessings of brotherhood and unity.
