Join us as we remember *our Grand Shaykh* the noble Huzoor Qudwat-ul- Awliya, Shaykh Sayyid Tahir Alauddin al-Gilani (علیہ الرحمہ), the esteemed grandson and custodian of Ghawth al-Azam, Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (علیہ الرحمہ ), Baghdad Sharif.

This great saint was the revered shaykh and blessed teacher of His Eminence *Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri*, and the one who bestowed upon our guide the vision for the blessed mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.

*We welcome all students back to Madrasah on Monday 1st June 2026 following the Eid holidays.*

All students are expected to arrive promptly for the start of their class at *4:40pm*. Punctuality is essential. Any student who arrives late may be subject to appropriate action in line with Madrasah policies.

Students must attend wearing the correct Madrassah uniform. Failure to comply with the uniform requirements may result in disciplinary action.

Repeated failure to follow Madrasah rules and expectations may result in *temporary suspension* from classes until the matter has been addressed and compliance is demonstrated.

All students must bring the necessary materials for their lessons and arrive fully prepared to learn.

* Diploma in Islamic Studies: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
* Hifz Class: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

*Yaum-ul-Arafah Special Gathering*

Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nelson held a spiritually uplifting gathering in honour of the blessed Day of Arafah, bringing together members of the community for an evening filled with remembrance, reflection and devotion.

The programme was graciously presided over by *Allama Hafiz Mudassir Aziz Qadri* and *Allama Hafiz Shams-ur-Rahman Aasi*, who guided the congregation through a beautiful and soul-enriching gathering.

The event commenced with a heartfelt recitation of the Holy Qur’an by *Qari Fayzaan Faisal Qadri*, whose moving tilawat deeply touched those in attendance.

This was followed by inspiring renditions of *Naat and Nasheeds* by *Haji Ilyas Sahib*, *Hussnain Hanif*, *Ismaeel Hanif* and *Haji Mushtaq Qadri*. Their recitations stirred emotions and reignited the love and longing for the blessed cities of Makkah al-Mukarramah and Madinah al-Munawwarah.

*Allama Hafiz Mudassir Aziz Qadri* then delivered a *powerful Naseeha* in both English and Urdu, speaking on the significance of turning to Allah Almighty through sincere supplication. Drawing upon verses from the Holy Qur’an and teachings from the Sunnah, he shared inspiring examples from the beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the lives of the blessed Ahlul Bayt (AS) and the noble Sahaba (RA).

The gathering continued with the collective recitation of special *Awraad and Wazaaif prescribed by His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri* for the sacred Day of Arafah. This was followed by a spiritually uplifting session of *Zikr* led by *Qari Fayzaan Faisal Qadri*.

The programme concluded with a *heartfelt dua* by Allama Hafiz Mudassir Aziz Qadri, praying for peace, unity, mercy and harmony across the world.

May Allah Almighty accept the efforts of everyone involved and allow us all to benefit from the blessings of Yaum-ul-Arafah. Ameen.

*Day of Arafah*

*Tuesday 26th May* is the blessed day of *Arafah*, the 9th of Dhul Ḥijjah, the most sacred day of the Islamic calendar after Laylat al-Qadr.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
"There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah."
(Sahih Muslim)

✅ Fasting on Yawm al-ʿArafah is highly recommended for those not performing Ḥajj.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
*"It expiates the sins of the past year and the coming year."*
(Sahih Muslim)

Let us spend the day in fasting, dua, dhikr, recitation of Qur’ān, and seeking forgiveness.🤲🏻

26 مئی 2026 بابرکت دن "یومِ عرفہ" یعنی 9 ذوالحجہ ھے۔ لیلۃ القدر کے بعد یہ سب سے مقدس دن ھے۔۔نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "اللہ تعالیٰ عرفہ کے دن سے زیادہ کسی اور دن جہنم سے لوگوں کو آزاد نہیں فرماتا۔"
(صحیح مسلم)

📿 یومِ عرفہ کے روزے کی غیر حاجیوں کے لیے بہت زیادہ فضیلت ہے۔اس حوالے سے نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا:
"یوم عرفہ کا روزہ پچھلے اور اگلے سال کے گناہوں کا کفارہ بن جاتا ہے۔"
(صحیح مسلم)
