A reminder.. as previously advertised … there is no Cilrath Forest Church tomorrow Sunday 13th September. We meet again Sunday 20th September when we gather in our woodland for communion with Rev Sophie joining us.

We start again for a new season of Contemplate@Cilrath this Wednesday 2nd September at 9-15am for a 9-30am start and a prompt finish at 10-30am at our Cilrath Village Hall/woodland shelter. Its low words, silences and encouragements. If you haven’t before its a great way to recentre, ponder and wonder on all things of the Creator and Creation.

Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, autumn is beginning to show its colours as it’s forced upon us by a relentless dry and hot summer. It’s time also to announce we start back with our first of the new season gathering as a Forest Church community on Sunday 6th September at 3pm. However on Sunday 13th because of the Pembrokeshire Iron Man event and some other factors we will not be meeting. The week following on the 20th we have our Rev Sophie doing communion with us all. Also ! We start Contemplate@Cilrath again on Wednesday 2nd September. BUT note we feel to revert to our winter timing of meeting in the morning at 9-15am again instead of evenings. The reason it will be completely dark by the time we would have finished the evening meeting when we get to the end of the month. You probably know all my cliches. Please don't let their regular use cause the meanings to be lost on you. We are focused on “Community, Creation and Christ”. We are a light weight nature based spiritual faith group who do an awful lot of “Fun Fire and Food”. We never claim to be “right or to be sure”! We leave that for those who go to “Proper Church” 🤔. Come as you are. Skeptical, faithful or confused! We are all on own journey, but I view us as all walking across the same rewilded landscape following our own path, rabbit trail or clambering across the thicket as we are heading to the same gateway the other side. Usually I think I can just see all your heads somewhere across the undergrowth as we make progress together. Looking forward to our gatherings again. Pt your Forest Host.

We celebrate with a feast for the last Forest Church gathering this season before the summer hols break. We start again in September. Meeting today at 3pm. Bring your own plate and cutlery.

We meet 6-45pm for our last midweek Contemplate@Cilrath tomorrow ( Wednesday 8th July). After this we start again in the autumn.
