Church on The Green We are a community of all ages journeying together in faith, seeking to know and share the love and power of Jesus with those around us.

Church on the Green

We start with a short all-age gathering with a variety of different activities to suit all ages including songs, bible stories, activities, prayer, fun and games. We then have a picnic (in the summer)and there is usually plenty of time for a game of rounders, cricket or football together. We meet at 3 or 4pm (depending on time of year) on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month o

n the green between Nightingale and Greenslade Gardens in Nailsea as a different expression of Nailsea Baptist Church. We also meet at other times for socials such as for walks, picnics and games. We look forward to welcoming you to join us- no church or faith experience necessary! It is worth checking this page prior to meetings as we have a wet weather in door option at The Centre on Silver Street if necessary.

Due to the cold weather forecast on Sunday we will being taking Church on the Green on an expedition! We will start and finish on the green but take a short wonder to do some of our activities on countryside locations to keep warm (this worked very well last time we did this!). So bring wellies instead of chairs. See you at 4pm!

Church on the Green is back this Sunday at 4pm- why not join us? Its currently looking dry so we should be outside unless that changes. A short meeting of sketches, bible story, songs and other activities for all ages. On the green between Nightingale and Greenslade Gardens- bring camping chairs (though we will be moving about a bit to keep warm don't worry!)

Due to covid amongst the team the Easter Rag Wreath Making evening has sadly been postponed. It will now be Thurs April 7th at 7:30. If you have already reserved a space, this will automatically be transferred and we hope you can still join us. For those not yet booked in there are still some spaces left so book in.

God of justice, bring justice to this awful situation
Lord of all, do what only you can do and bring this conflict to an end.
