Let us all pray for the attempted beheading victim in Belfast, being reported by some as a 15 year old boy, still in critical condition.
We pray for a miracle.
We pray for total healing.
We pray for divine wisdom for the medical team.
We pray for peace for his family and friends.
We pray that through this experience many will be drawn closer to God and if not already, will become Christians.
We pray for justice.
Amen.

The Vicar and Elders are pleased to announce that Mr David Hassall has been appointed as our second parish Verger alongside Mr Ryan R J Burdett. Dave served at Divine Worship today for the first time and was commissioned with prayer via the laying on of hands. Please pray for him as he begins this ministry of service in the church of Christ.

This might sound controversial; however, if you’re looking for comfortable, easy “churchianity,” we are not the church for you.

We’re not a social club (though we love real fellowship).
Our liturgy is ancient, reverent, and lifts the heart toward heaven.
Our music isn’t trendy, but it teaches the faith.
Our preaching doesn’t tickle ears, but it feeds souls with full-fat Christianity.
We love people too much to sugar-coat biblical truth.
We do not compromise on doctrine or tradition and at the same time we welcome everyone.

We set the bar high because worship is about glorifying God not entertaining ourselves.

So if you’re hungry for something real…
If you want a church that won’t water down the faith…
If you want Christ proclaimed without apology…

In the last year we've been able to support 6 local teenage mother's as they chose LIFE for their babies!! Through our baby bank, we provide nappies, wipes, clothing, blankets and more to those needing help. Then we continue to offer support through our charity shop as they grow.

2. Donating NEW baby items. End of season sales are great at Sainsburys, Morrisons and other stores for grabbing discounted newborn clothing. We also need toiletries etc.
