St Cyrus Church of Scotland Welcome to St Cyrus Church; for the community of Benholm, Garvock, Johnshaven and St Cyrus. Join us While the services are Christian – they are offered to all.

As a Parish Church we seek to serve the community through offering a welcoming place of worship, fellowship and as a well equipped meeting place for other organisations. While we are a distinctly Christian Church, we want to serve God through offering a welcome to those of faith or none. Many people feel that the church is only for members, but in fact through the various activities and religious

ordinances such as Infant Blessing, Weddings or Funerals, this is not the case. You do not need to be a Member to seek a Blessing for your child, to be married in the Church, or to have a Minister to conduct a Funeral. Why not come along and join our community!

We had many visitors over the weekend, and they asked us to share before-and-after photos of our Church renovations. So here’s a post from 2022 after all the work was completed! We received so many lovely comments about how well maintained our Church is, and we’re incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated team of volunteers who work hard to keep it that way. It’s always a joy to receive such kind compliments!

Thanks to everyone that came today bought, plants, had a cuppie and bought books!
Plants sold out and cakes all eaten, just wow!
We raised an amazing total of £1295!
Plant Sales £830
Teas £405 to be divided equally with Friendship Club and Church.
Books £60 Friendship Club.
Thanks to all our amazing Volunteers, bakers, servers and especially Evelyn and Margaret for bringing on the amazing selection of plants which sold out today!
What a great team you are.
Thank you! What a wonderful time we had meeting you all, you were all so friendly and just made it a very special day!
