🌺 Remembrance Sunday – Thank You 🌺

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Remembrance Sunday service. It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces coming together to honour and remember.

Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we’ve raised £138 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, which has now been donated on your behalf.

Your support truly means so much to our village and to those who served.

Our small but beautiful church is ready to pay our respects this Remembrance Day.

At 10:45, a Remembrance Service will be held as we come together as a community to pause, reflect, and pay our respects.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

**Remembrance Day Service**

Join us this Remembrance Day at 10:45am as our community comes together to pause, reflect, and remember those who gave so much.

At 11:00am, we’ll share a two-minute silence with a solo bugler playing to mark the moment.

Donations on the day will go to support the Royal British Legion.

Everyone is welcome — let’s stand together to honour and remember, side by side. 🕊️

We are all harvest ready at St Tegfedd Church in readiness for tomorrow’s service at 11am.

Thank you to everyone who have donated, it’s greatly appreciated and your generosity will lighten the load for those less fortunate.

If you’ve not yet donated and would like to, there’s plenty of time! We will be taking donations right up until 10am Monday morning before we take them to Croesy Food Share Hwb

If you’re free at 11am tomorrow, bring your best singing voices (in tune or not!) and join us to celebrate harvest together.

🌾 St Tegfedd Harvest Festival Service 🌾

📅 October 12th
⏰ 11:00 AM

Join us for our Harvest Festival Service as we come together to celebrate the incredible work of our farming community and the blessings of the season.

In the spirit of giving and community, we are welcoming donations of dried and tinned foods, as well as personal hygiene products, which will be donated to the Croesyceiliog Food Share Hub to support those in need.

📍 Where to donate:
• Drop items in the village phone box
• Bring them up to the church

All donations will be beautifully displayed during the service, and we’ll take a moment to give thanks for the difference they will make before delivering them to the hub.

After the service, please stick around and enjoy tea, coffee, and homemade apple cake – a lovely way to share and celebrate the season together.

We’d love to see as many of you as possible – let’s make this a special day for our village!

Pets are more than welcome to join us too. Many animals played a vital role and they too should be remembered🐾

In honour of those who gave their all, you are invited to a Remembrance Day service at St Tegfedd Church

Sunday 12th | 10:45am

Let us gather as a community on this day of reflection to pay our respects, remember the sacrifices, and honour the heroes who fought for peace and freedom!

Join us at our village church as we remember and commemorate the bravery of our fallen heroes.

The church will be respectful decorated to commemorate Armistice throughout November.

Poppy pins will be available to purchase on the day of the remembrance service.
