The day we see what Love can bear, and be and do.

The day when the One who was there in the beginning speaking the universe into being, shouted: ‘It is finished!’

It is always a blessing to worship as churches together in the village we love.

Really looking forward to celebrating Christmas today and tomorrow with you all.

Today:

2.00 pm Reflective Communion Service (a space of calm, peace, hope) at Monkseaton Methodist Church

4.00 pm Christingle Service (I really can't wait for this one...hopefully a time of being filled with joy and laughter, as we remember the story of Christmas) St John's Methodist for all the family.

Tomorrow:

10.00 am Christmas Day Service- Party and Celebration (Pass the Parcel, sweets, joy) at St John's Methodist Church. (One of the images on the Christmas Day advent was created by one of our own, Max.

It is that time of year where in the midst of busyness, we are invited to notice the beauty around us. The beauty of nature, the beauty of people and the beauty of God's love for us.

We always look forward to our getting together at the heart of Monkseaton to sing carols and remember the story of Christmas. Please do join us, there will be craft from 3.30 pm for the children to get involved with and warm refreshments and mince pies afterwards at the Methodist church across the road.
