📅 A Little Diary Update for 2027 🤍

As we start preparing and organising our diary for 2027, we’re carrying out a little update of our booking records to make sure we have everyone’s correct and up-to-date contact details and send over the booking details/ hire agreement ( very informal).

If you have a booking or provisional date with Maxwelton Chapel for next year, we would really appreciate it if you could get in touch with us to confirm your best contact details and email address.

This will help us make sure we can keep in touch with you and ensure that any important information, including deposit receipts and booking correspondence, can be sent to the correct email address.

Please don’t worry, this is simply a routine update of our records and a chance for us to make sure everything is correct in our diary. 🤍

What a wonderful day we had at the Chapel Open Day! ❤️

It was so lovely to welcome everyone through the doors, meet so many wonderful people and hear your stories and memories of the chapel. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special. 🥰

One particularly lovely moment was meeting a couple celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. They had returned to the chapel 40 years to the very day since their wedding, and, as if that wasn’t special enough, they discovered they were also number 40 in the marriage register! 💍❤️ What a wonderful coincidence!

Unfortunately, we were far too busy chatting and enjoying everyone’s company to take many photos ourselves! 📸 So, if you took any pictures during the open day, we would love to see them. Please feel free to share them with us in the comments or send them in a message.

Thank you once again to everyone who came and made it such a memorable day. We hope to see you all again soon. 😊

As we close the doors on our last wedding (for now), we just wanted to take a moment to reflect on what a wonderful couple of weeks it has been here at Maxwelton Chapel.

We’ve been privileged to celebrate two beautiful weddings over the past two Saturdays, and it has been so lovely to see the chapel once again filled with love, laughter, happy tears and hope for the future.

A gentle scattering of white petals marked the end of another special day, leaving behind a quiet reminder of the joy that had just been shared.

To all of our wonderful couples and their families, thank you for choosing Maxwelton Chapel to begin your next chapter. We wish you every happiness together.

Although our wedding season pauses for now, we look forward to welcoming many more couples through our doors in the future. 🤍

As we step into a brand new month, we’re looking forward to a wonderful few weeks here at Maxwelton Chapel. 💒✨

We have two beautiful weddings coming up, and we can’t wait to welcome our happy couples, their families, and friends as they celebrate such special moments.

Of course we said yes when Jolene and Will asked if they could use the Chapel grounds for a photoshoot ahead of their wedding day. 💕

It was a pleasure to play a small part in their journey and to see them make such wonderful use of this special place.
