Moira Methodist Church An active, Christian community living, working, witnessing and worshipping God in Moira, Co. Down. The history of Methodism in Moira, Co. Armagh and Glenavy, Co.

Down, can be traced back to 1756 and the arrival of an itinerant Methodist preacher in the village. John Wesley was subsequently to visit Moira on 2 separate occasions during his travels to Ireland. In 1822, the Church opened on its current site at Main Street, Moira and since that time, has been home to an active, welcoming and Christ centred congregation, living, working and witnessing in the vi

llage. Today, the Moira Church is part of Moira & Glenavy Circuit. Spread across 3 counties, the circuit which is part of the North West District of the Methodist Church in Ireland, includes churches in Craigmore, Co. Antrim. We meet weekly for Sunday Morning Worship at 1030am and you're very welcome to join with us as we praise, worship and give thanks to our wonderful, loving and living LORD. Minister: Rev. This year we'll be holding our annual Holiday Club once again, in partnership with Craigmore Methodist Church and the brilliant Play It by Ear.

This year's Club will take place in Craigmore Methodist Church, near Aghalee from 27 - 31 July. Admission is free and registration us now open online at https://tinyurl.com/Busybuildersclub 😀

Summer is coming, and so is our Busy Builders Holiday Club, run by Craigmore and Moira Methodist Churches!

Bookings are now OPEN to all children going into P1 up to those heading to Year 8 in September 2026. Book early to avoid disappointment.
