CELEBRATING THE ROSE WINDOW RESTORATION ✨

Join us at Holy Trinity Church, Minchinhampton on Saturday 29th August for a special evening celebrating the beautiful restoration of our Rose Window!

6.00pm — Doors open
6.30pm — Illustrated talk by Jack Clare (Holy Well Glass) sharing stories from the stained glass restoration work
7.15pm — The next stages of the Windows Project: David Thackray outlines our future plans
7.30pm — Time to celebrate! Wine & soft drinks provided

The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Today we celebrate the Assumption of Mary — a woman of faith, humility, and unwavering "yes" to God.

"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour." — Luke 1:46–47

From her humble yes at the Annunciation, to the foot of the Cross, and now taken body and soul into heavenly glory — Mary shows us the way. She is the first disciple, the Mother of the Church, and our hope.

As we honour her today, may we also say "yes" to God’s love in our own lives, and follow her example of faith, trust, and devotion.

Thank you to our neighbours and the Fire Brigade who put out the fire in the Churchyard today. It is now out and undercontrol. The firepersons are dampening down the whole area. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO HELP AT THIS TIME as the fire service need space in order to do their job.
