A quick reminder that it's our last quiz night today, until September.

Tonight (Tuesday 16th June) at 7:30pm. It’s £2pp in teams of up to 6. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a team, just come along and we’ll find you a team. Bring along your own drinks and nibbles. There’s also a raffle £1 per strip. It’s always a fun evening. Led by Colin and Pam.

This Sunday,14th June, we will have our Simple Sunday service, with Children’s Church taking place across the road (from 9:15am). The theme this week is ‘The Spirit of Courage’. We will hear from Judges 6:11-14,34-35 and Acts 4:8-13. Led by Rev. Matt Trendall.

The Holy Spirit, from Genesis to Revelation

This summer, we’ll immerse ourselves in the person and work of the Holy Spirit: from the first verses of Genesis, to the last verses of Revelation. Often the ‘forgotten’ part of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit is there at Creation, and also at the climax of the New Creation, throughout history revealing the reality of God’s presence and power to the world. So, let’s celebrate the Wildfire of the Holy Spirit, and continue to welcome His presence in our lives today!

Hi Everyone,
This Sunday we begin our new sermon series:
Wildfires’ – The Holy Spirit: a biblical journey from Genesis to Revelation
This summer, we’ll immerse ourselves in the person and work of the Holy Spirit: from the first verses of Genesis, to the last verses of Revelation. Often the ‘forgotten’ part of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit is there at Creation and also at the climax of the New Creation, throughout history revealing the reality of God’s presence and power to the world. Alongside our Sunday teaching, there will be Daily Inspirations to take you deeper on the journey throughout this whole ‘Pentecost’ season. So, let’s celebrate the Wildfire of the Holy Spirit, and continue to welcome His presence in our lives today!

Our theme for Sunday
This Sunday, 7th June, will be our Simple Communion Service, (with Children’s Church taking place across the road from 9:15am). The theme will be, ‘The Eternal Spirit – present at creation’. We will hear from Genesis 1:1-3 and Genesis 2:4-7. Led by Matt Trendall.

Invitation to Language Cafes
Have you come to live in the UK from another country? Would you like to meet new friends and learn about life in Britain while improving your English? Then a Wavendon Language Café is for you.
Two groups meet as friends, one on Thursday morning and another on Saturday morning from 10 to mid-day both led by a qualified teacher but with other British helpers. We share interests and concerns and learn about life in MK and more generally in the UK.
If you would like to try a session please speak to Rev Matt Trendall or Elizabeth Prockter in church.

Breakfast @ Frosts next month:
popular event for adults, at Frosts Garden Centre (conservatory), Woburn Sands, MK17 8UE, every second Saturday of the month at 8:30am until approx. 10am. The morning includes breakfast, a short time of Christian worship, prayer and a talk.

The next meeting will be Saturday 13th June, when Neil Harris will be speaking about the incredible work of ‘Mercy Ships’, a faith-based international development organisation. See further details below as well as how to book your ticket:

Happening this evening at Wavendon Community Centre opposite the church.

We are excited to introduce our new once a month Men’s Fellowship, built on the words of Jesus in Luke 18:1: “Always pray and not give up.”

This will be a place where we come together, lead group meetings (different leader/speaker each month), grow in faith, strengthen one another, and develop a consistent life of prayer. In a world that often encourages men to carry burdens alone, this monthly gathering offers fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual strength.

We invite all men to join us as we begin this journey together. Come expectant, come as you are, and come ready to grow!

Hi everyone,
Thank you to all who joined us for our prayer walks this afternoon, including the group who meet in church. Holy Spirit, would you pour out faith across every generation within Walton. 🙏

This Sunday, 24th May, is Pentecost, when we will celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit. We will hear from Acts 2:1-8, 12-2. Led by Rev. Matt Trendall.

The title for our next exhibition is ‘Inspirations‘. We invite you to share anything which inspires you!
