Celebrating 175 Years of Moorhouse Methodist Church

As part of the Rochdale Heritage Celebrations, we are hosting a special Open Day and we need your help to bring our history to life.

🗓️ Date: Saturday 19th September
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We are currently updating our church history booklet and putting together an exhibition of memorabilia. To make it truly special, we want to feature your stories.

- Attend Sunday School or our Youth Clubs?
- Hang out at The Cellar Club?
- Get married here, or celebrate a milestone?

If you have fond memories, recollections, or old photos, we would absolutely love to feature them in the exhibition.

As a community here at Moorhouse we have long supported the work of Christian Aid to help the poor and marginalised of the world. We are raising money for Christian Aid Week because it’s unjust that drought is driving people into hunger.

Help us to raise £250 this Christian Aid Week, for families facing hunger in Nairobi. Parents like Fridah are growing food in small city spaces so their children can eat. With tools, seeds and training, families can plan for the future. The money you raise will fund essential training and tools for farmers like Fridah, helping them build a sustainable future.
