Millom foodbank Feeding local people in crisis! 13 million people live below the poverty line in the UK. Our foodbank provides a min of 3 days emergency food and support.

Helping people in time of need or crisis, Confidential NOT judgemental. The foodbank has been set up by the Millom Churches to respond to the need to help those we know who are struggling in our community, showing God's love with practical help through food, support and advice.Foodbank opening times - every Tuesday and Friday from 11am to 1pm at Crown Street Baptist Church Hall, Millom. Easter 2026 opening times for Millom Foodbank.
We will be open as usual on Tuesday March 31st and Tuesday April 7th but closed for Good Friday April 3rd.

Millom Foodbank would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful generous community who supported the foodbank collection in Millom Tesco Store over Thursday, Friday & Saturday 28/29/30th November.
We must also say a huge thank you to all the volunteers who manned the desk during this three-day collection – well done to you all and thanks for being there for Millom Foodbank.
The total cash collected was £394.57. The food donated will be weighed on Tuesday when it goes back to the Barrow foodbank – the volunteers there will let us know what the food donated weighs in at and we will post the total weight and how many meals the weight will equate to, in due course.
Thanks once again to our fantastic community.

Thank you so much to our local Furness Building Society for this wonderful donation. Together we're stronger 🫶
We're proud to be able to support our local communities and last month our Millom branch presented the local foodbank with a donation of £1,000.
The donation will go towards the emergency food and support that Millom foodbank provides to those in need. Thank you to the volunteers for the amazing work they do!

Due to high levels of demand locally our stock levels are running very low at the moment. Any donations of items from our shopping list (also toiletries & toilet roll) would be much appreciated, we need all items as quickly as we can get them. These can be donated at our local Tesco supermarket. Please share, thank you all so much for your continued kindness and support 🥰
