Following Welsh Government advice, we are once more allowed to gather on a Sunday to hold our Meetings. Initially this will be out of doors whilst work is being done at the Meeting House. We shall also be continuing our online Meetings via Zoom on occasions. Details of our Meetings can be found along with our other Upcoming Events on our website. PATCH Charity: good news in plain words

So far this year, our income almost covers our spending. In charity life, that feels like nirvana. Well done to every PATCH staff member and volunteer.

Social media is working

We posted more often. Our audience liked and shared more. Our reach grew fast. More people now see what PATCH does.

Stronger together

We teamed up with other third sector groups. These links gave us more attention and more income. Working together is the plan, not a slogan.

Smaller cakes, bigger slices

Grant pots are smaller. Our finance and bids team now aims for bigger slices. They put in long hours behind the scenes. We updated our business plan. We checked our guidance. Everything matches our current work.

Trustees on the case

We now have a steady group of Trustees. They bring a mix of skills. They track trends and guide us well. This is helping PATCH grow in a safe and smart way.

Our store teams, volunteers, and staff speak with Trustees through our usual channels. That keeps us close and clear. Thank you to every single person on this journey.

Write strong bids and back them with proof.

Final word

This year shows that steady work and honest numbers pay off. Near break-even is not luck. It is teamwork.
