1 Chronicles 11:15-19
Three of the thirty chiefs came down to David to the rock at the cave of Adullam, while a band of Philistines was encamped in the Valley of Rephaim.
At that time David was in the stronghold, and the Philistine garrison was at Bethlehem.
David longed for water and said, ‘Oh, that someone would get me a drink of water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem!’
So the Three broke through the Philistine lines, drew water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem and carried it back to David. But he refused to drink it; instead, he poured it out to the Lord.
‘God forbid that I should do this!’ he said. ‘Should I drink the blood of these men who went at the risk of their lives?’ Because they risked their lives to bring it back, David would not drink it.
Such were the exploits of the three mighty warriors.

⚠️ PLANNING PROPOSAL ⚠️

There has been a proposal to open yet another "adult gaming centre" a.k.a bookies in Middleton. The location will be where the subway is at the moment.

Considering there isn't even a bank or post office in the town centre anymore, adding yet another one of these establishments seems quite ridiculous.

Here's the link to object to this proposal...

It is not a petition, you have to click on the comments tab, then fill out your objection.

Thanks so much and be blessed everyone 🙏🏻✝️🔥🕊🙌🏻

Matthew 12:9-13
Going on from that place, he went into their synagogue,
and a man with a shrivelled hand was there. Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked him, ‘Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?’
He said to them, ‘If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out?
How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.’
Then he said to the man, ‘Stretch out your hand.’ So he stretched it out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other.

‘This, then, is how you should pray:

‘“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.”

Matthew 8:1-4
When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him.
A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, ‘Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.’

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. ‘I am willing,’ he said. ‘Be clean!’ Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.
Then Jesus said to him, ‘See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.’
