Catechist Formation Pathway 2 begins on Thursday 24 September 2026. Designed for experienced catechists and those who have completed Pathway 1, this diocesan programme offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Catholic faith, learn from speakers from across the Diocese, and connect with fellow catechists.

Most sessions will take place online, with opportunities for prayer, discussion, and practical application to parish life.

St Bede's Pastoral Centre are offering a new opportunity to explore and go deeper with others.

Rooted and Rising is:
· a two-year course providing a safe space to deepen relationship with God and explore its expression in our everyday context
· primarily experiential and broadly based on Ignatian spirituality
· rooted in the idea that deepening our awareness of God and ourselves go hand-in-hand and that this enables a greater integration in our own lives, our lives as members of communities and in the life of creation as a whole.

This two-year hybrid course consists of one in-person Saturday per term in York and eight online sessions on Thursday evenings.
