We have created a dead hedge using the brash collected last Thursday.

Back in the garden today after a long break!
We tackled the overgrown area by the gate, clearing brambles, nettles and elder to make way for a new hidden garden enclosed by a hedge.

It was a really good day in the garden today. We finally got the area for the polytunnel measured out and moved one of the raised beds from the vicarage, along with some spring onions.

We also managed to bag up plenty of leaves, so we're well on our way to some great leaf mould.

Thanks so much to everyone who dropped by to help out, and a big shout-out to Mike for the compost bins!

Back out in the meadow today. It was chilly at first but the sun soon made a welcome appearance.

We got stuck in digging over our first flower bed, cleared away the brambles and ivy along the fence, and Abby created a beautiful planter that’s going to look amazing once it’s filled.

Another brilliant day in the meadow! The grass is freshly cut, and the brash pile has all been chipped and neatly stored, ready to be used as mulch.

The weather was a real treat this time, much kinder than our last session, and with summer just around the corner there is plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and got involved. It made all the difference.
