Dear Devotees

Following the 'Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav' of our 'New Shivalinga' last Sunday, we will be celebrating 'The Maha Shivaratri' on the coming Sunday, 15th February, with full pomp and glory, as we do every year.

This year is a special year though, as it is the 1st Maha Shiva Ratri celebration after our new 'Linga sthapana'. We are hoping all devotees will join this special celebration.

All details of the program are in the attached Newsletter along with instructions for the devotees wishing to participate in the 'Rudra-avisheskhs'. Devotees wishing to participate are requested to inform Panditji well in advance for the arrangements to be made.

With kind regards
Yours sincerely

Dear Devotees

Tomorrow, 4th January is the first Sunday of this New Year. 'Durga Mata Group' of Devotees are performing ' Durga Mata Puja' tomorrow.

On 11th January, the second Sunday of the month, Mr Neeraj Jadav and family are Yajman for 'Balaji Avishek' starting at 9.30 am.

On 18th January, the third Sunday, we will have 'Balaji Puja''. There is no Yajman as yet for this celebration and it is an opportunity for anyone keen to perform 'Balaji Puja' in the temple to step forward and contact Pandit Ji.

On 23rd January, Friday, 'Basant Panchami' will be celebrated in the temple with ' Maa Sarswati Puja'. Next day, Saturday the 24th January in the evening, 'Maa Saraswati Puja' will be performed in the temple by the 'Tees side Bengali Association', who are celebrating 'Basant Panchami' in a traditional way for over 40 years. The devotees, particularly the students are invited to attend this celebration on both days. Traditionally, as Ma Saraswati is the 'God of learning', it is a very popular celebration for the students as well as for their teachers / mentors. After all, many seniors also like to remain as students as learning is lifelong.

I'm away for the next 3 weeks. So, I am sending the 3 Newsletters in advance, I'll return on 22nd January to serve the temple devotees again. If there is any change of the programme in the meanwhile, Prem Ji will keep you updated through the Whats app group..
