Henry Nowak RIP
You will have seen the distressing images surrounding the tragic death of young Henry Nowak. Let us pray for the repose of his soul and keep his family especially in our prayers at this time. They have responded with such dignity, in the face of what must feel like overwhelming grief and anger: “We do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension," Henry’s father Mark said. Let us echo their wish by praying for healing, true peace based on justice, and an end to violence and hatred in our nation.
2nd Collections
Parishioners have asked about how to donate to 2nd collections when they have no cash on them. You can now do this by using the QR code which is located near the card machine. The next 2nd collection is on the weekend of 21 June for the “Day for Life Fund” which makes grants to organisations which promote respect for life in various ways. Resources to mark the Day for Life are here:www.cbcew.org.uk/day- for-life/.
