He is risen!

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” — Luke 24:5–6

This morning we celebrate that Jesus is alive!

Easter Sunday is not just something we remember, but something real for us right now. What looked like the end turned out to be a new beginning. God brought life where there was death, hope where there was none.

Whatever this season has been like for you, Easter speaks into it. If things have felt heavy, there is hope. If you’ve felt stuck, there is new life. If you’ve been carrying things you weren’t meant to carry, there is freedom in Him.

Because Jesus rose, the story is not over. Your past is not the end of your story. God is still at work, still bringing life, still calling you forward.

And if this has been a joyful season, thank Him for it. Every good thing comes from Him. Don’t rush past it. Take time to recognise His kindness, His faithfulness, His hand at work in your life.

Take a moment today to thank Him. To lift your eyes again. To remember that you are loved, forgiven, and not alone.

Weather update - We’re still meeting this morning.

We’ve driven over to St Cuthbert’s already this morning and main roads are clear, the car park is covered in snow, but not icy.

Please use your own judgement about travelling though, we’d rather see you next week if you’re concerned about making the journey.
