The youth of MRC dusted off their walking boots today 🚶‍♀️ 🥾

Following on from our Parson Duncan Pilgrimage earlier this year, it was clear there is a determination to get out into the beautiful Scottish countryside. So today, lead by our Wonderful Dean Alison, we took to Dog Falls on a perfectly atmospheric Highland day for a cracking walk ⛰️ 🥾

What a brilliant weekend we had by the sea! Our Scottish Episcopal Church Youth Overnight was hosted by St Mary and St peter's Church, Montrose in the Episcopal Diocese Of Brechin and brought together teenagers and youth leaders from all seven dioceses. There was seaside fun, fish and chips, lots of cake and a night spent in the church. On Sunday the young people confidently led worship at a joint service, where they received a very warm welcome.

Thanks go to our hosts, our youth leaders, these wonderful young people and their families!

Today, we say a big Happy Birthday to Mary! The statues of her .edinburgh are well worth visiting on a Sunday if you haven’t seen them before!

A group of young adults from the SEC are in a very hot Taizé this week, exploring the theme of “What are you seeking?” They have been taking part in small groups and Bible study, looking at John's Gospel. Today's focus has been on Nicodemus: how he sought Jesus out and how his relationship with Jesus changed over time. Pictured are some of the pilgrims marking , calling for an end to r**e and gender-based violence.
