Good morning. We hope that your are enjoying the day, but also managing to keep cool. The gardens are looking a bit too dry at the moment so let's hope for a little overnight rain to refresh everything.

Tomorrow's service in Tabernacle will be led by Gloria, and Yvonne will give us the message. It will be lovely, and we know that we will leave at the end of the service feeling renewed and lighter in spirit.

The world is such a confusing and divided place. Perhaps now, more than ever before, there are powerful forces working to make us mistrust each other, and put people in boxes depending on their skin colour, their life style or their religious or political beliefs. What would Jesus say about that? We must read our bibles to find our own answers to that question but it seems to me that when he preached he did so on moutains, in villages, by the side of rivers. He preached wherever there were people. He preached to everyone. He didn't discriminate between people. He treated all people in the same way. That is my answer to those who would divide us. What is yours?

Please join us tomorrow if you can. The service starts at 11.

If you can't come in petson but would like to share in the fellowship of Christ with us please use Mari's at home servicebin the comfort of your own home.

We are all one in Christ.

Good afternoon..we hope that you are having a lovely day.
Tomorrow is Ascension Sunday, following Thursday which was Ascension day itself.
Ascension day marks the time when Jesus, went back to Heaven.
It is a day of celebration and great joy but sometimes it makes me feel a little sad, a little lonely too. Then I remind myself that we are never truly alone, because He is still with us in spirit. He walks beside us every day.

Do you ever wonder what He thinks of the world today? I do. He must feel so sad that this world has strayed so far from his commandments of love and forgiveness.
It is up to us to do our best, in this tiny corner of Wales, to bring his love to everyone we meet.

Tomorrow's service in Tabernacle will be led by mr Gerry Ingram. We are looking forward to welcoming him back again, and we know that we will receive a blessing.

Good afternoon everyone. What a day it was yesterday!! A new government in Wales. We pray that they will govern with fairness, love and respect for all people.
Also yesterday we celebrated the 100th birthday of David Attenborough. What an amazing man he is! He has spent his life showing us the beauty and wonder of God's world. He reminds us that we must respect and take care of it. We are all its caretakers after all, appointed by Our Heavenly Father.
Have a good week everyone.

Tomorrow's service will be taken by Rev Tudor Jones. Come if you can.

Good afternoon friends. Happy bank holiday weekend. We hope that you spend it doing something special, even if it's just spending some time listening to the birds. We have such busy lives these days, we all need some me time.

I love being outside, just listening. When I hear a blackbird or a robin sing I am reminded of the beauty and wonder of God's world.

We, in Tabernacle, were very glad last week to welcome Mr Howard Dyer back. It has been a long time since we last saw him and we all felt very blessed and uplifted by his presence and his wonderful message.

Have a great week everyone. If you can't join us in pwrson tomorrow here is Mari's at home service. Join us in spirit and in prayer.

Good morning on this wonderful day. I'm looking at a tall green tree against a gorgeous blue sky and thinking how beautiful God's world is. Then I think of the cruel anihilation of Palestine and the wars and troubles accross the world. What is wrong with us??? Our Father gave us everything we need and we abuse his trust every day.
It's more important now than ever before that we follow the teachings of love, sharing and forgiveness of Christ.

"God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Tomorrow's service will be led by Mr Howard Dyer. We are looking forward to seeing him again.

Thoughts and prayers are with our friends and members who are unwell at this time, and to families in need all over the world.

Good morning, and what a lovely morning it is. It's such a change from the mist and rain. The bluebells are beginning to.open so it really does feel like spring.

This week we are thinking of our friends and family members who are unwell. They are in our thoughts and prayers every day. We worry about them and share their anxieties and pain.

We also think and pray for people whom we do not know, whether here in Merthyr or accross the world. They are all our brothers and sisters whether we know them or not. With the hate and anger everywhere today it can be easy to forget that we are all just human beings doing our best in difficult times. Jesus told us to love our neighbour and to treat others as we would wish to be treated ourselves. It is so easy to forget those teachings as we struggle with our daily lives, but let us remember that if we followed this simple command there would be no wars, no hunger and no poverty.

As usual our service tomorrow will begin at 11. It would be lovely to welcome more people. Please join us if you can. If not here is Mari's simple at home service. Please join us in spirit if not in person.

Today people across the world will join Pope Leo's call for peace. Not just Roman Catholics, but people of all faiths and of none. As Christians we stand for love not hate, forgiveness not blame, and healing not hurt. So whatever you are doing today take some time to pray to God that hurts will be healed and peace will cover the earth.

Our service tomorrow at 11 will be led by Pastor John Roberts. Please come if you can.
