It's afternoon already. How time flies!!

Isn't it lovely to feel the cooling breeze today. I think that God sent us the continuous hot weather so that we will learn to love the breeze more. His blessings are so varied and so numerous that we so often forget to thank him.

Thinking today about our children, who just a few days ago left their schools for the last time . Whether it's the 6th form in Junior school, or year 11 leaving the comp they have an exciting adventure ahead. We pray that they will be happy, healthy and able to make the most of every opportunity. Our children and grandchildren - some of the greatest gifts of all.

Tomorrow's message in chapel will be given by Yvonne. We love all her messages and appreciate her willingness to step in whenever she is needed.

May our Father God bless us all in the week ahead.

With everything that is going wrong in the world at the moment. Perhaps it is a good time to remind ourselves of some of the things that Jesus told us.

Happy are those who are merciful to others.
God will be merciful to them.

Happy are those who work for peace. God will call them his children.

Love your enemies

Love your neighbour as you love yourself.

Don't we need more love and peace in the world now - more forgiveness, more sharing and more tolerance?

We are all different. We all look different, think differently, have different life experiences, but in the end we are all the same. We are all part of humanity, created by God to inhabit the earth. So isn't it time that we all worked together to cure the world of greed, anger, intolerance and hate?

Our service tomorrow will be led by mr Gerry Ingram. We haven't seen him for a while so it will be especially lovely to welcome him back to Tabernacle.

Have a good week everyone.

Good morning. Have a lovely day everyone and keep cool.

This is a message from Mari which I would like to share with you.

Good morning all. I hope you haven't melted yet. I was hoping that there would be a heat reprieve next week, but the temps are still quite high, so that'll mean more sleepless nights!
Apart from the heat, l hope you have all had a good week.
Tomorrow we have Pat Lewis with us in Tabernacle, which will be lovely. I'm sure you have all seen or heard the very sad news about Seion (Zion) Twynyrodyn. I think most of us have been in the church for one reason or another over the years, especially the Cymanfa Ganu on an Easter Monday. A strong bastion of Christianity for over 200 years gone for good. But that's the building. Christianity continues even if the building doesn't, and we must continue in our faith, because God has us all in His hands.
Please continue to stay safe during the heatwave, it will end at some point - I hope!!
Love Mari xx

What a blessing it is today to feel the cool wind on our faces. It is almost as if nature itself is breathing a sigh of relief.

Today we are thinking of our young people who are saying goodby to familiar schools as they embark on the next stage in their lives, whether it is to go to a college, a job or a comprehensive school. We ask our Father to be their strength and their guide in the months and years to come.

We think of and pray for the people in Venezuela as they come to terms with the devastation and loss caused by the earthquakes. Also we pray for the victims of wars, oppresion, and greed. In many ways humankind has strayed from the path that leads to forgiveness and the enduring love of Christ. We ask for forgiveness and guidance so that we can start to heal the world.

Tomorrow's communion service will be led by John Roberts. We all love his services which are filled with joy. Please join us if you can. You will receive a blessing we know.

Here is Mari's at home service l. Please use it if you wish.

Have a good week and remember that every act of kindness is remembered in Heaven.

What a blssed relief the cooling breeze is today after the stifling heat earlier this week. I know I'm not the only one who lay awake half the night too hot to sleep. Let us all take time today to thank Our Father for this respite, and to ask for his guidance and help in our battle against global warming. We must never forget that God made the world and it is our responsibility to take care of it.

Our prayers today are with all suffering people, especially those in Venezuela, Palestine. Ukraine, Lebanon and all areas of need and conflict. How Jesus must despair when he sees the inhumanity of wars and the pain of the suffering. How glad he must be when he sees the humanity of the people digging through rubble to save lives, and the people marching for peace.

Love your neighbour and treat others as you would like to be treated yourself. Two simple commands, but if we all followed them what a different world this will be.

Have a good week. Do what you can to follow the teachings of Christ every hour of every day. Let's make this world a better place.

Good afternoon.
Tomorrow's service in our lovely chapel will be led by Mr Berian Jones. We are all so grateful to him and all the other pastors and preachers who visit to bring their messages of love and hope to us. We learn so much from them. They uplift us more than they can possibly imagine.

So thank you to every one of them who are so willing to share time and teachings with us all.

The service will start at 11. Come and spend an hour with us if you can. We'd love to see you.

For those who are unable to attend please take a moment to follow Mari's at home service. We can still be together in prayer.

Good morning. We hope that you will have a lovely day.

It's great that all of us have a different idea of what a lovely day looks like - whether it's spending time with family and friends, digging the garden, or lying on a beach. It's great that we are all different. Our Father God made us that way. We are all unique. We all choose our own path through life and every path is different. That's one of the reasons why every single life is important. We are all irreplaceable in God's plan.

So today let's spend a little time thanking God for our uniqueness. Let's remember every day that we are all important to God. A billionaire is no more important than anyone else. We are all wonderful in God's eyes and we are judged on what is in our hearts, not on what is in our pockets.

Tomorrow. Our service will be led by Christian. He is well named and we will all receive a blessing.

Good afternoon. Our weather seems to have returned to our usual wet and windy. At least the roses in the garden are happy!!!

This has been a special week for us, as one of our much loved members had his 101st birthday. His is a life of service and faith, and we are all proud to be a part of it.

Faith, to believe in God and to honour and follow the comandments of Christ, keep our feet securely on the right path. This is so necessary today when there is so much distrust, intolerance and hatred about.

Let us remember that Jesus didn't hate anyone. He healed, he forgave, he taught and. Above all. loved.

Let us all be more like Jesus.
