There will be a large funeral gathering at Mereworth Church on Tuesday the 25th of August at 13:30. Please be aware that there is likely to be a lot of traffic in The Street from 12:30 - 15:30. For details please contact the vicar: [email protected]

Yesterday was the first of this year’s cream teas at Mereworth Church. What a wonderful array of cakes, savouries and special treats in the fridge we had on offer as well as our infamous cream teas themselves.

Thank you to everyone who came down and enjoyed the afternoon.

We also must give a big thank you to Carole, who lives in the village, and generously donated this week’s supply of milk and cream-THANK YOU

We will be running the teas for the next 4 weeks from 2pm-5pm so please do come down and see us.

We would be grateful for any cakes and traybakes for the refreshments stall at this year’s fete. If you are able to bring something along, could you deliver it to the pavilion between 10am-11am on the day and attach a list of ingredients. If you have difficulty delivering on the day contact Viv on [email protected] to arrange collection.
