Our speaker at our coming winter conference is Paul Harcourt. Paul lead New Wine conference and network from 2016 until 2023. He is an amazing communicator and passionate about the Church, passionate about the Church being equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit and passionate about the word of God. We cannot wait to have him with us.

This is a great opportunity to hear his wisdom on being an 'Empowered man' empowered by the spirit, empowered by the word and empowered in prayer. If you are considering buying a ticket for Brothers in Christ on November the 9th you may be wondering what a Brothers in Christ Conference is like?

Well at the heart of it is a desire to bring as many men of God together for worship, prayer, encouragement and fellowship. We achieved this through inviting amazing and encouraging speakers, putting together fantastic worship bands, providing amazing food around which conversation can flow, giving space and time for prayer, having a big walk in the day where people can really connect and encouraging men in the walk with God together as brothers.

We usually take a well known song as our theme for each conference and this November is no different. Our theme is 'There is a light that never goes out' the continuing power of the gospel in the life of a man of God. And we are blessed that our speaker is the Team Leader of the EMBA regional team Mark Clay. Mark has been following Jesus for many years and has known the power of the gospel throughout that time, he is also an excellent communicator utilising humour and a lightness of touch to get a across deep biblical truths.

Included in the price of your ticket will be a lunch bag and a hot evening meal as well as tea coffee and snacks throughout the day, there is a walk that you can join in with or you may choose to chill out at the church and chat some more with those there and there will be three sessions of teaching, loads of sung worship, opportunity to pray for each other and receive prayer ministry.

It's a great day and you don't want to miss out on it.

The good news of Jesus Christ remains the good news that transforms every Brother in Christ throughout his life. On Saturday the 9th of November at Melton Mowbray Baptist Church we are going to get together, eat, pray, worship, walk, talk and listen to that good news once more and see how it can be the story that sustains our whole lives. Hello Brothers! A bit of news we have shifted the day of our winter day conference to the 9th of November! We also very excited to announce we have booked our first speaker for the event, the East Midlands Baptist Association team leader Rev Mark Clay. The theme for the day remains the same 'There is a light that never goes out; the continuing power of the gospel in the life of a follower of Christ'.

Do pray for the u conference. We cannot wait to welcome over 60 Brothers in Christ to Whetstone Baptist Church, pray for them that they would meet with Jesus and the day would be transformative for each one. Pray for Tim Nelson our speaker that he would be anointed and empowered by the holy Spirit to bring the word God has laid on his heart for all our guests. 🙏
