We ask that Your Holy Spirit work in our lives.

The first Methodists in Meltham met in 1797 in a cottage on Sefton Lane. We haven’t moved far. Since then three buildings have been built for worship. The current church opened in 1977. Come and celebrate our anniversary on Sunday at 10.30 and stay for lunch. All welcome.

We ask your blessing on all those involved on sports, professional or pleasurable.
Give each one the courage to play the game in a manner which is pleasing to you.
Entering into competition in a spirit of sportsmanship and with a respect for the members of the opposing team.

No Afternoon tea this month. It’s the Church Anniversary on Sunday. Rev Dee Yeadon will be leading our service at 10.30. We are having lunch together after the service. Come and join us.

Help us to listen properly to people who are speaking
Let us listen to the deeper meaning and unspoken words
Forgive us when our response is superficial and thoughtless
Make us sensitive to the needs of those around us
Help those around us to be sensitive to our needs too.
