Mary Sumner Day August 9th 29 members of Mellor Mother's Union celebrated the 150th Anniversary at a service led by the Rev Nathaniel Gilmour and Margaret Ashton Branch leader. The display of photographs and information was much appreciated by members of the Congregation.

Blackburn Cathedral is celebrating 150 years of Mothers' Union from 10am to 4pm on Saturday next (8th August). The day will reach a climax in a service, led by the Bishop of Blackburn, from 2pm until 3pm to remember and give thanks for Mothers’ Union founder Mary Sumner and her legacy today. See below:
