Melksham Spiritualist Centre We are an independent group of Spiritualists operating in Melksham and offer a Sunday Divine Service at 6pm. SN12 6LP.

Healing is available before the service at 5-5.30 for anyone who needs it or would like to experience it. Melksham Spiritualist Centre, The Scouts Hall, King George V Playing Fields, Melksham. (1st building on the right, just off the Bath Rd towards Waitrose car park)

Hello friends it was a lovely evening tonight with Debs Starr as our visiting Medium.
Debs gave the opening prayer and Claire, who was Chairing the service, followed this with a lovely meditation and the absent healing prayer.

For her reading Debbie read a short poem which she has called "Mum" but it really applies to anyone who has passed that you really loved and have found their loss to be life changing. She went on in her address to remind us that the love tie remains in spite of death and that they remain with us to help and support us throughout our earthly lives.

Debbie's demonstration of Mediumship was lively and often emphasised with song but she proved the continuity of life for all those lucky enough to receive a message.
Thank you Debbie for a lovely evening.

Next week we see the return of our own Glynis Galloway so it is sure to be a Spiritual evening that's filled with love, laughter and evidence.

Hello friends, as expected it was a lovely service this evening with David Townsend as our visiting Medium.
After David's opening prayer, Glynis, who was , Chairing the service, gave a lovely meditation

David explained that he doesn't give a reading as he can't vouch for the validity of what has been written by someone else. He's been listening to Spirit all his life himself so he prefers to chat about his own experiences.

His demonstration of Mediumship was delivered with humour as always and he proved the continuity of life without doubt for all those lucky enough to receive a message.

So dear friends , tonight’s Service was so very different from the previous weeks, where it was extremely cold. Well tonight we were truly extremely warm, such a turn around. Our Medium joining us this evening was Helen Eggleton, after opening the Service in prayer, Helen took us through a meditation, which set us up for our Healing Prayer to follow . Martin our Chairperson for the evening then played some music , which led to Helen delivering her Reading & Address for the evening. The Reading was entitled “ The Mountain “ by Laura Ding - Edward’s, it explains that sometimes situations in life are like Mountains , which we feel unable to deal with , but that’s ok. It’s not wrong to stay in bed if sadness is what we are feeling, things that we feel unable to deal with, is not a defeat or a failure, we take time out & realign ourselves. What we must learn to do is just to be able to love ourselves more. Helen’s address followed on from her Reading , telling us that it’s alright if we can’t manage something today, not to persecute ourselves over it, but take ourselves into a quiet space, & know we can attempt it again at another time. Just remember it’s not a failure, your just resetting & attempt it again when your ready.
Then we followed on to the Mediumship time of the Evening, where Helen delivered messages to those who were fortunate enough to receive them. From the replies from the recipients it was clear that Helen had brought the two worlds together without a shadow of a doubt.
Thank you Helen for an evening full of love, & many thanks to you our Congregation for your love & Support.
Thanks also go to Martin for Chairing , setting up, alongside Gill, who gave healing , thanks go to Billy who helped us tidy up at the end of the Service.

Hello friends it was a lovely spiritual service tonight with our own Reverend Maddie Webb as our Medium.
After a lovely opening prayer and meditation, the absent healing prayer was read and healing sent to the world and everything in it.

For her reading Maddie read a short piece from Reflections called "The road of Life".
In this and in her address Maddie told us how we seemingly sail through the good times but how the bad times seem to go on forever.
We feel that we will not survive it, but somehow we always find the strength to get through it. The Footprints in the Sand poem seems a fairly good way to describe this because I feel that this is when Spirit step up and support us through it and there's a lot of truth in the saying"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". Certainly when whatever has passed you feel stronger for the experience.

In her demonstration of Mediumship, Maddie proved the continuity of life beyond any doubt as she delivered messages with her usual humour and sincerity.
Thank you Maddie for a lovely evening.
