The Diocesan Environment Group is inviting you to the first in a series of workshops, exploring what it means to live as disciples in Creation - linking faith, justice, and practical environmental action.
St Ninian's Scottish Episcopal Church Hall, Castle Douglas
St Andrew Street, DG7 1EN
Saturday, 6 June, 10am - 2.15pm
This interactive workshop explores how Christian discipleship connects with care for Creation. Exploring biblical cration stories and moving from a theology of dominion to one of justice and inter-dependence. The day will combine reflection, discussion, and practical action. Participants will consider how faith shapes everyday environmental choices, explore worship resources, and engage in prayer within Creation.
The workshop is designed to be practical, reflective, and collaborative, with opportunities to share ideas and resources. A key outcome will be exploring the formation of a rural working group to support ongoing action.
