Darley Dale Methodist Church

Darley Dale Methodist Church was formed in September 2017 when the Darley Dale, Darley Hillside and Hackney Methodist Churches joined together. We have weekly Sunday morning and evening services, an informal Messy Church for families at 9am on the third Sunday of every month, as well as prayer meetings, Bible studies and fellowship groups to help us to grow in faith as individuals and to encourage

one another as we aim to live out our faith day by day. Our social activities include a Coffee and Chat morning on Tuesdays and coffee and lunch on Thursdays, along with and various events throughout the year. We can also provide “coach party afternoon teas and lunches” and, depending on availability, can hire out the Church Hall for various uses. In daily life, Methodists are known for their commitments to social justice, caring for people and enabling other people to become followers of Jesus. Members of our congregation put their faith into action by visiting those who are no longer mobile, assisting with a variety of clubs and activities and playing an active role in the Darley Dale community and in the wider world.
