Worship@6 is back on 10th May, and we're delighted to welcome Rev Yanyan Case as our guest preacher.
Growing up as an atheist in China, Yanyan experienced a life-changing encounter with God that turned her world around and set her on an unexpected path.
She now serves as a Methodist minister in Biddulph and is also a local councillor, seeking to serve God in both the church and community.
Join us for some great worship and to hear Yanyan's story. Bring a friend if you can!

Worship@6 returns on Sunday 8th March, when our speaker will Rev Anthony Clowes.

Anthony has been a church leader for 30 years and for the past five years has worked for both the Methodist Church and the Church of England as a church planting coordinator and leadership coach across the North West of England. He has visited MDMC many times over the years, and we look forward to welcoming him back.

Worship@6 returns on Sunday 9th November, when our speaker will Rev Rob Cotton.

Rob arrived at MDMC as our new minister in September 2025, joined by his wife Carol, who is our Circuit lay-worker, with particular focus upon Pastoral Ministry.

Rob is a Staffordshire lad, and previously led churches in Nottingham, Preston, Knutsford, and Wakefield. He also spent eight years as the Senior Campaign Manager at the Bible Society and was on the leadership teams for campaigns such as Hope08, Biblefresh, and The 2011 Trust (celebrating the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible). He has spoken at conferences and Bible weeks around the country, and his 2018 book “Hope in the Main Street” is well worth a read!

Rob’s passion is to mobilise the church to meet needs within local communities and to bring hope into the lives of individuals.
We are excited at how God will use Rob and Carol here in Market Drayton, and look forward to him bring God’s word to our gathering on 9th November.

We are praying that the Holy Spirit will move amongst us as we meet, and that God will bless us with specific words and pictures to encourage us and build up our faith.

Worship@6 returns on Sunday 11th May, when our speaker will be Dave Matthias.

Dave lives in Shrewsbury with his wife Esther and four kids. He has been a full time pastor at Barnabas Community Church since 2008, and the team leader since 2019. He also chairs Barnabas Community Projects which is the charity which runs Shrewsbury Food Bank, and is a Trustee of Shropshire Hope which organises the annual Shropshire Prayer Breakfast and other events. Do join us for some great worship, prayer, and an inspiring message.

Our speaker for worship@6 next Sunday evening is Rev Chris Densham.
Following a career in the pharmaceutical Industry, Chris was a Baptist Minister in Hertfordshire and Norfolk, then spent seven years as Ecumenical Mission Enabler for Telford and Shropshire before retiring to South Birmingham.
Do join us next Sunday evening for some great worship, prayer, and an inspiring message.

Please note that there will not be a Worship@6 event at MDMC tomorrow (Sunday 13th October). My apologies to those who will be disappointed we are not meeting.
