Prayers this week for some of the mission organisation whom we support both locally and around the world. 🌍

BMS World Mission.
The European Baptist Federation (EBF) brings together 59 Baptist Unions from across Europe & the Middle East.
This week we lift up their inspirational work bringing hope in many
challenging contexts. Pray that churches across Europe & the Middle East would bring light to their countries.

Pray for the many Baptist Unions
seeking to welcome newly arrived migrants. BMS helps support five
migrant church planters through the EBF, in Spain, Serbia, Lithuania,
Ukraine & the Czech Republic.

Pray that these churches will be welcoming spaces for people who have had to flee. Give thanks to God for European churches that are stepping out of their comfort zones to reach out to newly arrived migrants with acts
of love & a message of hope.

Tear Fund.
This week, pray for an end to violence,
suffering & displacement across the world.
Pray for the focus on peace building opportunities: for the threeyear project addressing violence against women in Lebanon, Syria & Iraq.

Pray that faith communities, women & young people will actively participate to build peaceful communities & cultivate relationships grounded in dignity & respect

Pray for God’s peace to work in
communities that are struggling & pray too for wise leadership & for peace where crime often leads to instability, violence & terror among the population.

Prayers this week for some of the mission organisation whom we support both locally and around the world. 🌍

Mission Aviation Fellowship. This week we are invited to pray for some of those who work for MAF around the world.
David is MAF Country Director in South Sudan. Pray for wisdom, discernment & protection for him & his family as they serve in one of MAF’s more challenging operations.
Give thanks for Josh who has now got his pilot license after graduating from MAF’s Future Pilot Programme.
Josh will be joining the South Sudan programme later this year, so please pray for him as he prepares to move there.
Based in PNG, MAF Technologies provides the local Church with technical solutions such as radio
communication, computing, solar lighting installation, the distribution of digital audio Bibles & any other technology that can help advance the Gospel.
Pray for Corporate Services Manager Natasha as she supports this vital work.

London City Mission
This week give thanks for LCM’s Corner House, a supported housing project designed to give people who have been homeless a safe place to live & rebuild their lives, providing holistic
care; meeting practical, medical & emotional needs.
Pray for Pancho, Corner House Ministry Team Leader & the team who help there. Pray for wisdom, resilience, & joy as they support residents rebuilding life from the ground up.
For Pancho, the vision is to have an impact beyond the Corner House -
“We look to do that in partnership with local churches volunteering alongside us.
Please pray we serve well the surrounding churches helping them gain experience & confidence to engage this community well.”

We held a retiring offering last Sunday to support the appeal from Tearfund for the Ebola Crisis in the Democratic
Republic of Congo
We are also holding a similar offering this Sunday, please support this if you are able. Payment can also be made to our bank and mark it Tearfund
