This time tomorrow (TTT). Each week we are going to share what members of our church do when they are not volunteering with us.

This week it’s Rachel who is on our Welcoming Team. Rachel works for Oxfordshire County Council for the Vision Support Team as a Rehabilitation Vision
specialist.

She works with children and adults with reduced vision due to a progressive condition such as glaucoma or sudden sight loss through trauma or a stroke.

Rachel visits people in their own homes to help them make the most of the vision they have and teaching them specialist skills like how to use a long white cane.

Rachel loves her job because it’s about helping people to remain independent and keep doing the things that they love.

Thanks to Rachel for all that she does for our church family and those she sees and helps in her role in the Vision Support Team.

This morning at church, Sunday kids were learning about Pentecost. They had the chance to release some butterflies and to make ‘fire’ ribbons to represent the Holy Spirit.

God listening to us ……..

A very special Easter Sunday service - we heard about the resurrection of Jesus from the view point of Mary Magdalene.

The children and young people enjoyed hunting for Easter eggs in the churchyard.
