Manchester Vineyard

Manchester Vineyard A group of people who long to do the stuff that Jesus did, seeking to love Jesus & love Manchester 🐝

We are a group of people who long to do the stuff that Jesus did. We believe that a love for others and a desire to express that in practical ways is a natural by product of spending time with Jesus. We want to build a community that finds and understands the needs of the city and seeks to practically and compassionately respond to them. We want to be part of extending the hands and heart of Jesus

to the City of Manchester and intend to be a church that gives a significant portion of our time, energy and money to reach beyond ourselves and help others. We’d love to hear from you and have a chance to hear your story and share ours with you.

It was an absolute joy having the team on Manchester Vineyard's apprenticeship year visiting us! We chatted about Preston Vineyard's journey so far and went out into Preston to bless people with some free sweets 🍬🍭

This morning we announced that, with only a few weeks’ notice, the offering total so far is £206,208. We are hugely humbled by the generosity you have shown. Thank you for partnering with us as we take this step of faith. This is just the beginning 🔥

What a wonderful morning we had yesterday! We celebrated a baptism, hearing the story of a life transformed by Jesus 🔥

We also, as a church family, brought our offering before the Lord, trusting that He will multiply it for His glory. We pray that the building that He has provided will be a place where many people encounter Jesus and surrender their life to Him 🙏

We’d love to invite you to prayerfully consider what part you might play as we step out together in faith.

On Sunday we also have baptisms and cannot wait to hear the stories of lives changed by Jesus and celebrate alongside them.

Our camping trip is 19-21st June - and there’s something so powerful about getting away together 🏕️💥

As we look ahead to moving into a building of our own, we long to deepen our relationships with one another. Shared meals, late-night conversations, space to laugh, pray, rest and really know one another.

We hope you can make it - mvuk.org/camping

Tomorrow we will be praying and fasting in various ways prior to the Giving Day on Sunday, and we’d love for you to join us.

Please pray, among other things, for:
- Faith and courage for us all as we step out in faith.
- The Lord’s stirring of His people to give as He leads.
- Wisdom for those that will be coordinating this project
- For the people yet to come.
- God’s leading in the local area as we seek to establish a presence.
