It is a matter of great pride that our Church has received Charity Registration from the Government, which is essential for its full and recognized functioning in a foreign country.

Sincere gratitude to Mr. Stanley Varghese, the Treasurer of our Church for his amazing efforts along with the Sub Committee for the Charity Registration and the Church Committee for this historic occasion.

We are deeply grateful for this meaningful and joyful moment in the history of St. Stephens CSI Church Manchester. Nineteen confirmation candidates from our congregation publicly affirmed their faith, filling our hearts with quiet gratitude.

We were truly blessed to have our dear Bishop, Rt Rev Dr Malayil Sabu Koshy Cherian, lead and bless the occasion with his profound spiritual insights, which touched not only the candidates but also their parents and the entire congregation.

We sincerely thank our vicar, Sabiachan, for his humble leadership and prayerful guidance in preparing both the candidates and the church family - serving as a True Shepherd to his flock.

The Bishop also graciously congratulated our church on its growth and activities over these past four years since his last visit to Manchester CSI congregation. He expressed appreciation for the thoughtful and wise decisions made by our general body and church committee regarding various projects and missions.

With heartfelt thanks, we acknowledge all parents and Sunday school teachers of the confirmation candidates for their unwavering dedication in strengthening God’s kingdom - your efforts are truly valued.

Lastly, we appreciate once again how harmoniously our church committee coordinated everything to bring this special service together.

Above all else, we humbly praise God for His abundant mercies continually showered upon our congregation.

With heartfelt gratitude to God, the Second Service of St. Stephen’s CSI Church, Manchester was prayerfully inaugurated on 18th February 2026 at York, with the blessings of our Bishop, Right Rev. Dr. Malayil Sabu Koshy Cherian.

The first Holy Communion Service began at 7:15 PM in York, and nearly 50 members participated in this blessed occasion. The service was led by our Vicar, Rev. Sabi Mathew.

For the past two years, the North East Area prayer group members from York, Newcastle, Middlesborough, Doncaster, Barnsley, and Sheffield have been faithfully gathering in homes for prayer meetings. By God’s grace, this fellowship has now grown into the Second Service of our church.

It has been decided that Holy Communion Service will be conducted in York on every first Saturday of each month.

We sincerely thank our Bishop, our Vicar, all committee members, volunteers, and prayer group members for their dedication, support, and prayers.

May our Lord continue to bless this new beginning and help us grow stronger in faith and unity.
