We joyfully give thanks to God for the ordination of Rev. Kenson Li, a beloved member of our church family here at St. C’s. He was ordained at Manchester Cathedral by the Bishop of Middleton, the Rt Rev Mark Davies, in a deeply moving and sacred service.
Following his ordination, Rev. Kenson presided at his first Eucharist, marking the beginning of his priestly ministry. It was a truly beautiful, grace filled, and emotional occasion. A moment of great joy for all who were present, online and for our entire faith community.
Rev. Kenson expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their prayers, love, and warm wishes. He offered special thanks to:

Fr Ian Gomersall, his mentor, for his guidance, encouragement, and nurturing spirit, helping to lead Rev. Kenson faithfully towards his calling to the priesthood.
Our dear friend, the late Alan Beck, who was a source of wisdom, kindness, and faithful friendship. Alan’s thoughtful gift of a bottle of Communion wine seven years ago was beautifully used at Rev. Kenson’s first Eucharist, a touching reminder of enduring love and fellowship in Christ.
We pray that the faithful soul of Alan Beck continues to rest in eternal peace and rise in glory.
May God continue to bless Rev. Kenson as he begins this sacred journey of service, and may his ministry be filled with the Holy Spirit, bringing hope, faith, and love to all.
