Last Sunday, as we marked Trinity Sunday, we had such a joyful time together! 🎉 We gave thanks with the parents of Ludovico, celebrating his precious life and God’s abundant blessings 🙏🏾 , it was truly a happy and uplifting occasion for everyone ❤️
It was also so lovely to welcome baby Tara to church for the very first time 👶✨. Moments like these remind us how beautiful it is to celebrate new life and the growing joy within our church family 💒🌸
A huge thank you to Mille for the amazing cake 🎂, Karthik for the delicious full-course meal 🍽️, and Precious for the delightful puff puff 😋. Everything was wonderful and made the day even more special! 🌟

Yesterday, we made our annual pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady at Ladyewell near Preston. This year’s pilgrimage was a special memorial in honour of Fr Michael Burgess.
It was a truly beautiful day, filled with prayer, the recitation of the Rosary, and the blessing of being sprinkled with holy water from Our Lady’s well.
We are deeply grateful to the staff for their warm and welcoming hospitality and we extend our sincere thanks to Fr Stephen Duncan and Fr Admos Chimhowu for celebrating Mass with us.
God willing, we look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

The Mass of Easter Day, including the Sacrament of Confirmation, was presided over by the Right Reverend Mark Davies, Bishop of Middleton.
Congratulations to all the confirmands, and to the Revd Admos Chimhowu on his licensing by Bishop Mark as Associate Priest in the Benefice of Victoria Park, St Chrysostom.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making Holy Week and the Easter Day Mass such a success, and especially to Fr Admos for accepting the call of our Lord. Please continue to keep Fr Admos and his ministry in your prayers.
This year, 14 worshippers proclaimed “Alleluia! Christ is risen, he is risen indeed, Alleluia” in their own ethnic languages, a beautiful reflection of the blessing and diversity of our community at St Chrysostom’s.
Let us see how many more will join us in proclaiming the Resurrection of Christ next Easter.
