To mark our 50th anniversary, Trinity Baptist Church welcomes Dr Israel Oluwole Olofinjana to a weekend of worship and teaching on 24th and 25th January 24th. We're looking at what it means to be multicultural church. Please come and join us.
On Sunday we have our anniversary service at 10.45am, followed by lunch together then Israel will speak again at 3.00pm.

Christmas carol services at Trinity Baptist Gorton this Sunday.
Drinks and mince pies will be served.

10.45am - Family carols and nativity - a lively Christmas service and a rather different nativity play.

4.00pm - Gorton community carols by candlelight - featuring favourite carols, plus music from Gorton Ukes, and Yoruba carols by our choir.

Here’s information about a great day to go through the whole of the Old Testament in one memorable day as Walk Through the Bible comes to Trinity Baptist Church, Wellington Street, Gorton, M18 8BE on Saturday 13th September 2025.
It’s been described as:
“An experience that will forever change the way you view your Bible”
“An interactive and engaging teaching event that uncovers the Big Picture of the Old Testament - Genesis to Malachi”
“An encouraging way to consolidate prior Bible knowledge and help fill in gaps”

It runs from 10am to 4.30pm in five sessions.

Each adult pays £14 for this life-changing event. 11- to 17-year-olds can attend for free with a paying adult.
Everyone receives a substantial workbook, helpful devotional materials and a handy reminder of the Old Testament storyline – plus free re-admission for life to future live events of the same testament if you bring the workbook with you.

The Vine at Trinity Baptist Church is cancelled this afternoon due to a serious road accident on the corner of Wellington Street and Hyde Road.
The ukulele group will not be meeting either.
There's no access to Trinity Baptist Church or the Oasis Centre because of road closures around the accident site.
Please pray for those hurt in the incident and the emergency services working there.
