Hey Families 👋

Just a quick heads-up about Free School Meals (FSM).

Any family getting Universal Credit may be entitled to receive free school meals for their children, regardless of how much the household earns.

If your child is at school, it’s worth checking if you qualify – You could save up to £500 per child this year on school meal costs.

Already receiving FSM? Contact your child's school to re-apply. If your school needs information from you to help check eligibility, provide this to them as soon as you can.

Mo's Cabin is Wythenshawe's best little treasure trove. Clothing, bedding, curtains, bric a brac and loads of other wonderful items at prices you won't believe! Come along for a brew and a chat. Open Tuesdays and Fridays 9.30am till 12pm, Brownley Green Methodist Church, Broadoak Road.

Little Lighthouse Baby Bank is a fantastic project that supplies baby items to new parents / carers / grandparents. Open every Thursday at St. Martins (Opp Martinscroft met stop) 10am till 12pm. Confidential and free.

New walking group! We have buddied with the fantastic Bideford Centre in Baguley to have a gentle, weekly walk around Wythenshawe park then back to the Bideford for a drink and breakfast (small charge for these but you won't get a better deal for a full breakfast in Wythenshawe!) Everyone welcome, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. No need to book, just turn up!

Want a three course restaurant quality night out? Free? Yes FREE! Join our friends at the Church of the Nazarene every Wednesday 5pm till 7pm. Wendover Road, Brooklands M23. Go and see Erica and the amazing Foodcycle team. The food is always top notch and there are no restrictions for eligibility! ALL are welcome, just turn up but make sure you get there for 5pm as they can get busy.
