Our "Fill your mind with truth" workshop will be lead by Sister Rachel Rutley of the Macclesfield ward.

Rachel is a mother, wife, Relief Society President and practicing physiotherapist. She is passionate about lifelong learning in all areas of our lives and believes the answers to our spiritual questions come from study, pondering and prayer. Her class is 'Fill your mind with truth' and will discuss how and what truth is and how to seek it, with opportunities to add your ideas to Rachel's own basic fundamental guiding gospel principles.

We look forward to seeing you all next Saturday at our Manchester Stake Women's Conference.

Our workshop "spiritual innoculation" will be run by President Gregson.

In this workshop, President Gregson will outline a framework for understanding how faith can develop and change over time and help us appreciate what individuals are going through when they experience challenges to their faith.

Jamey Gregson is a husband and father of three children and currently serves as 1st counsellor in the Manchester stake presidency. Jamey received a PhD in biochemistry from Brigham Young University in 2007. He then worked for several years as a research scientist for a biotech company in Cambridge before moving back to his hometown of Macclesfield, where he currently works as a medical writer within the pharmaceutical industry.

Hi Sisters,
Less than two weeks to go until our Women's Conference on the 23rd September.
Our workshop on EMOTIONAL HEALTH is run by Brother Gough from Ipswich Stake.

Dr Brian Gough is a retired GP and father of four. Soon after being called as bishop in 1985, he developed an interest in counselling, both members and NHS patients. With the help of his wife, Brian recently served as Area Medical Advisor. Based in Lima, he was responsible for advising on the physical and emotional health of 3,000 missionaries in Peru and Bolivia. Since returning in 2012, he has been offering free counselling sessions for members locally.
Life is full of disappointments, frustrations and anxiety-provoking situations. In the workshop, Brian will share some powerful coping strategies that can feel like the Balm of Gilead.
