*Supporting Families Through the Khizra iCare Food Hub*

Alhamdulillah, our latest Khizra iCare Food Hub distribution took place at Khizra Mosque, Manchester, supporting local families and individuals in need.

This month, 6 households comprising 13 adults and children were provided with approximately one month’s supply of food, tailored to each household’s needs. This included essential dry goods, fresh fruit and vegetables, and meat.

Our support is not only about providing food. Volunteers took time to welcome and talk with each family, listen to them and offer refreshments, helping ensure that everyone was treated with care, kindness and dignity.

Jazakallah khairun to all of our dedicated volunteers for their hard work, time and continued efforts in preparing and distributing the food and supporting those who need it.

🥋 British Taekwondo – End of Year Celebration 🥋

Congratulations to all of our students who received their end-of-year certificates in recognition of their hard work, commitment, and progress throughout the year. Well done to everyone!

Our British Taekwondo sessions have now finished for the summer and will restart in September.

⚽️ A Day to Remember for Khizra Football Academy! 🏆

Our Khizra Cheetham hill Football Academy had the fantastic opportunity to attend the City Football Experience Day at the Manchester City training ground.

All the children had an amazing day, enjoying the chance to play on a professional training ground, experience the atmosphere of elite football and create unforgettable memories with their friends and families.

We are also delighted that two of our young players were potentially selected for the Manchester City training academy, with further assessment to take place. This is a fantastic opportunity for the children and a proud moment for their families and everyone involved with Khizra Football Academy. 🌟⚽️

Every child received a certificate of attendance and had the opportunity to take photographs with their families, creating special memories that they can treasure for years to come.

A huge thank you to Manchester City Football Club for hosting such a fantastic experience day, and to all our wonderful Khizra Football Academy volunteers who helped make the day a great success.

It was a brilliant way to end the season, filled with football, excitement, smiles and memories that will last a lifetime. 💙

Congratulations to all our young people receiving their GCSE results today. May Allah (SWT) bless your hard work, grant you success and guide you towards what is truly best for you. Ameen.

If your results aren’t quite what you hoped for, don’t be disheartened. Your results do not define your future. Allah (SWT) is the best of planners, and sometimes a different path can lead to something even better.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“How wonderful is the case of a believer! Indeed, all his affairs are good for him. If something good happens to him, he is grateful, and that is good for him. If something bad happens to him, he is patient, and that is good for him.” (Muslim)
