The BBC is reporting today that the Vice Chancellor of Manchester university wants all students to do a work Placement. As a charity Redeeming Our Communities has been taking university students over this last year to work on placements within our mental health crisis hubs in Wythenshawe. It’s been a great initiative and students have really valued the work experience. We hope that this new scheme works across GM.

The university says the plans would give graduates a better chance in the job market.
