Everyone is welcome to the social Saturday meditation morning & working afternoon at Kagyu Ling this weekend.

There will be two meditation practices at 10.30am and 11.30am, followed by a shared lunch at 12.30pm, then working together in the centre & garden from 1.30pm. Come for some or all.

We hope for fine weather, but rain or shine it is always a pleasure to spend the day at Kagyu Ling, practising dharma, chatting with friends and lending a hand.

On the 12th Anniversary of the paranirvana of Shamar Rinpochre, we remember, with gratitude, the very special visit he made to Kagyu Ling. Shamar Rinpoche, an extraordinary holder of the Kagyu Lineage, bestowed Geshe Chekawa’s Seven Points of Mind Training from a commentary by his illustrious predecessor Konchog Yenlak. Those fortunate to be present at the Renaissance Hotel in Manchester City centre will remember those extraordinary teachings that were given from the heart with great compassion, humour and lightness .

Wishing a very happy 95th birthday to Karma Thinley Rinpoche, founder of Dechen.

We will be practising the Thangtong Gyalpo Amitayus puja at Kagyu Ling tonight in celebration.
