This morning, to mark Pentecost, we were invited to identify what gifts we have, write them on a piece of paper and put them in this wonderful model of a church.

Our Regional Minister Tim Presswood retires at the end of this month. We are joining with our friends at Luther King Theological College where Tim has been seconded for part of his time for a number of years, to say farewell on behalf of the region and the college.

We know many of you might have liked to attend a farewell but after discussion with TIm, we have decided to hold a lowkey farewell event with those with whom Tim has worked most closely.

We will be collating greetings, farewells and memories into a scrapbook for Tim, so if you'd like to contribute, please email [email protected] by 27th May and we will include them. You can also request details of how to contribute to a farewell gift to bless him for his work with us.

Please give thanks for the way God has worked in and through Tim to enable mission and ministry in our region. Please also pray for Tim and his family as they begin this new season in their lives

A powerful evening of music born from one of history’s darkest chapters.

Only one week and a day to this wonderful concert. The Song of Terezín commemorates the composers whose powerful music was created under unimaginable circumstances. Their works will be interwoven with reflections on music and memory by our patron, Lady Milena Grenfell-Baines.

Lady Milena’s life story is one of remarkable courage. As a child, she escaped Nazi-occupied Prague on the final Kindertransport train in 1939, organised by Sir Nicholas Winton. Her lifelong dedication to education, remembrance, and the unifying power of music continues to inspire audiences everywhere.

🎼 Programme includes works by:
Hans Krása
Bohuslav Martinů
Gideon Klein
Olivier Messiaen

🎻 Performed by:
Anna Tulchinskaya (violin)
Ruth Gibson (viola)
Petr Prause (cello)
Harvey Davies (piano)

Join us for an evening of remembrance, resilience, and beautiful music that speaks across generations.
